Everything you need to know about the Engine, the Guides, and the "I don't know" life.
What is Adventria? Adventria is a "Decision Engine." It’s designed to solve the problem of analysis paralysis. We provide a single, actionable suggestion based on your current location and "vibe" so you can stop scrolling and start doing.
Is there a cost to use it? No. Adventria is 100% free. We are supported by ads so that we can keep the decision logic free for everyone.
Do I need to download an app? Adventria is a Progressive Web App (PWA). You don't need the App Store. Just visit adventria.app on your phone, tap your browser's "Share" or "Menu" icon, and select "Add to Home Screen."
How does it choose where I go? The Engine uses a mix of your real-time location, the time of day, and the category you select, as well as your answers to specific questions. It filters through local data to find high-probability "wins"—places that are currently open and highly rated—and picks one for you.
Why does it need my location? If we don't know where you are, we might suggest a coffee shop in Paris while you're sitting in Chicago. We use your location as a sensor to find what's within your reach right now.
Can I "Veto" a decision? Technically, yes. But the philosophy of Adventria is to trust the Engine. If you keep clicking "Re-roll," you’re just back to overthinking. We suggest trying the first result the Engine gives you.
The Engine suggested a place that is closed. We rely on third-party data for business hours. While we try to be 100% accurate, sometimes local data is outdated. If this happens, it’s a sign from the universe to try the "Nearby" button on the map!
Are you tracking my movements? No. We use your location to generate the suggestion, but we do not store a history of where you’ve been. Your privacy is more important to us than your data.
I’m a business owner—how do I get featured? You can't buy a spot in the Engine. We use organic data to ensure the suggestions are unbiased. If your business is on Google Maps and has good vibes, the Engine will eventually find you.
